I have used Canvas quite a bit before and I have never encountered this problem. When I go to speed grader for an assignment, it only lets me grade in the "Groups" that I have selected. Not all assignments are group assignment/graded as a group, so I'm confused on why it won't let me see the entire class when I'm grading non-group assignments. If anyone has any knowledge on how to change this or fix it, that would be great. The previous semester, this never happened (for the same class/class structure), so I don't know what is different.
