[ARCHIVED] New Quiz will not load for a student

I have a student for whom a "new quiz" will not load. When I go to moderate, it looks like she is in the middle of the attempt, but again, it won't open on her Chromebook, phone, or personal computer. I was on a video call with her for an hour trying to get it to work. I have assignments locked because I scaffold things for them, etc., but the only way to allow her to continue for now was to remove the sequential order prerequisite, and I had to do that for all of my students in order for her to continue with the coursework. 
 
Has this happened to anyone else?
Does anyone know why this happened?
Does anyone know if I can end her first "attempt" that is stuck trying to load?
