I have just moved from Google Classroom to Canvas.  The one feature GC seems to have that I can’t replicate in Cavas is being able to view all student assignment submissions at once in a visual overview.  This is extremely useful.  

I see that you can organize SpeedGrader by “status” so the drop-down has completed assignments at top, but is there a way to view all assignments at once on Canvas?  

GC has a really nice grid view that shows all students with a thumbnail of their sumbmitted work (which is helpfully empty if they have not submitted).

My guess is Canvas does not have this, or I would have found it.  But I thought I'd ask!  Thanks.
