Good evening,

I am looking to set up my canvas page for my summer course so that the grade percentages are as follows:
Quizzes = 10%
Lecture Exams = 40%
Lab Exams = 35% 

Final Exam = 15%

I prefer to have these assignments worth a percentage value rather than relying on points so that there is not a set number of points I am restricted to for each exam/quiz. I know how to separate my assignments into groups and have each  group weigh however last semester after doing this I noticed that when I calculated the grades by hand, they were off a bit from what canvas was reporting. Is there any specific process I need to complete to make sure that it is the averages being counted towards the final grade and not the points?
