Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
We’re excited to introduce a new process that gives administrators greater control over their organization’s library when requesting products not found in the LearnCommunity Library. The Custom Created Products (CCP) feature is now available, allowing you to create custom listings and initiate vetting workflows—without waiting for LearnPlatform to add the product or relying on traditional submission processes. This saves time and simplifies the process, making it easier to manage your edtech ecosystem.
CCP is a new tool that allows LearnPlatform administrators to:
This new feature simplifies workflows, empowers admins to adapt to unique needs, and eliminates unnecessary delays in EdTech management.
Previously, educators had to first request products to be added to the LearnCommunity Library when they were unavailable, leaving admins without awareness of the request. Once added to the LearnCommunity Library, teachers had to request the product to then be vetted by their admin. Now, all requests are routed directly to the admin, thus providing greater oversight and saving educators the additional step of requesting a product twice.
CCP helps administrators take immediate action by allowing them to create a custom product to then kick off workflows even before a corresponding LearnCommunity Library version exists. Once an LearnCommunity Library version becomes available, administrators can seamlessly merge their custom-created tool with the library version, which also transfers any organizational data that was attached to the custom product onto the LearnCommunity Library version. This also enables usage tracking through the Inventory Dashboard, the ability to submit provider applications, and provides additional vetting information related to privacy, security and accessibility.
Many organizations have unique ways of referring to edtech, or have products that are specifically designed for them. With CCP, Administrators can rename and update logos for all products, as well as add homegrown and hardware products to their library. Giving them more control over how products appear, and ensures their library reflects their true edtech needs.
There are two ways that Custom Created Products can be used:
