The Mastery Connect teams are working to push the boundary of assessment insights - making more data available to educators sooner. In the assessment cycle, the point where you are able to review your student results is critical: it is the point where you need accurate and timely information, so you can take decisive action to improve your student’s learning.

We recently released a series of new analytics features which will greatly enhance your ability to see and understand your data, as well as allow us to continue to provide better access to that data in the near future, and I am thrilled to be able to introduce you to them!

Our new Overview Dashboard gives educators a bird's eye view into the performance of their schools, classrooms, and assessments.

The Assessments Results Dashboard allows you to dive into student results for a specific assessment, letting you understand performance down to a student and standard level.

Each of our dashboards is paired with flexible filtering options. Do you want to see the performance of all your high schools? Simply select them. Do you want to see the results for specific subjects, or student attributes? You can choose to select those too.

We wanted all educators to be empowered by our new analytics features, which is why we included all of these features are available for both administrators and teachers.

Throughout the next few weeks, we will continue to expand on the features for analytics, with some of our favorite features yet to come:

  • Assessment Comparison: Our Assessment Comparison dashboard will allow you to review performance across a selection of your assessments. For example, you might want to see how your students are doing across a series of benchmark assessments throughout the year, or simply have a view of the performance of the key assessments across a grade level.
  • Saved Dashboards: With the powerful filtering options available, you will find yourself wanting to come back to specific views of your data based on those selected filters. When it becomes available, you will be able to Save and return to your dashboard filters at any time.
  • Sharing Dashboards: Of course, as you review the data available to you and find insights, you will want to share those insights with your colleagues so you can collaborate and plan how to improve your student’s outcomes - you will be able to share dashboards to other educators who have similar permissions as you.
