We would like to share an update on two previously announced items on our Canvas LMS roadmap, specifically Alignment Summaries and Anonymous Grading for New Quizzes.
Initially, we had planned to release both features in Q2. However, after careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the full release until Q3 to ensure that both meet the high-quality standards we have set for ourselves and that you expect from us too.
We have been working hard to ensure that our grading system is as fair and unbiased as possible. We understand how crucial it is for students to receive accurate and impartial feedback on their work, and we are committed to providing this for you with the expansion of anonymous grading capabilities to New Quizzes. We've also been hard at work ensuring alignments are reported for New Quizzes in the alignment summaries available to instructors today in the most efficient way possible.
We believe that this delay is necessary to provide instructors with the best possible experience for both features. We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to rolling these features out soon.
