Introduction
Learning Services is excited to announce the addition of a new training course developed by TimelyCare to the Training Services Portal, available starting April 1, 2024. TimelyCare is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of college students through virtual medical and mental health care, striving to empower students to be well and thrive in all aspects of their lives
In collaboration with Instructure, TimelyCare has crafted an engaging training course to help users better understand the benefits of the virtual health and well-being platform. Institutions with Essentials, Standard, or Premium subscriptions to the Training Services Portal will have access to this course. Course Description
TimelyCare’s course equips portal users with the necessary skills to navigate their virtual health and well-being platform seamlessly integrated into the Canvas dashboard. This integration enables students to seek in-the-moment care directly within their learning environment, thus broadening access to essential care services. The course includes a series of Modules with written content, images, and videos. Upon successful completion of this course, a verifiable digital badge is awarded so learners can showcase a credential as evidence of learning. This course provides TimelyCare customers with a deeper understanding of the breadth of the services provided by TimelyCare as well as best practices and tips for expanding the reach of health and well-being services on their campus. By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Navigate the TimelyCare platform and understand its features, services, and integration with Canvas.
- Understand the role and benefits of virtual health and well-being solutions and how TimelyCare works as an extension of a school’s existing resources.
- Expand their knowledge of student health and well-being while obtaining tips and best practices for creating a campus culture that supports the needs of their students.
