Introduction
The Learning Services Training Services Portal is happy to welcome the launch of our Partner On Demand Training Content program. A key part of our mission is to help everyone learn together. That's why our Canvas learning platform is open, flexible, and extensible. In addition to our own platforms, we partner with hundreds of like-minded companies offering integrated ed tech solutions by supporting tools that work hand in hand with Instructure products.
Instructure partners now have the opportunity to build an on demand training course within the new Training Services Portal. This program allows clients to learn about specific LTI tools and how to utilize them with Canvas courses. Current partnership courses in development include Cengage, VoiceThread, Respondus, Blindside Networks (BigBlueButton), and eLumen.
Where Can I Access a Partnership Course?
All partnership courses will be located inside of the Training Services Portal (TSP). Clients who have purchased our Essentials, Standard, or Premium subscription package will see the partnership courses listed in their own row within the TSP titled “Partnership Courses”. This row will appear before the TSP Pathways section. Portal users will enroll in a partnership course the same way they enroll in any TSP course. What is Included in a Partnership Course?
To provide consistency for those who take advantage of the TSP offerings, partnership courses look similar to all other TSP courses. Content is organized into Modules and consists of written information and captioned videos. Partners may include quizzes and/or interactives to check understanding and at the end of the partnership course a badge is awarded upon evidence of competency.
