Integration Instructions
For over 10 years, Maestro SIS has had a robust integration with Canvas using the REST API provided by Canvas. Many of the available calls are implemented to exchange data between Maestro and Canvas with the capability to expand based on customers’ unique requirements.
This integration can support various interactions such as creation and updates of courses/sections, users, enrollments in Canvas and periodic import of assignments, grades and attendance information from Canvas. K12 schools can opt for Observer account for Parents.
Maestro also has the capability to import the data pertinent to Competency Outcomes from Canvas into the SIS which enables stakeholders like administrators, teachers, students and guardians to have up-to-date visibility on student progress and achievements.
Single Sign On is an important capability that enables Maestro to act as the center of the student’s learning platform enabling seamless access to Canvas and other systems with a single set of Maestro credentials.
