Education Modified is an award-winning special education platform that helps districts go beyond regulatory compliance to improve classroom instruction for students with special needs. Our research-based approach provides teachers with instant access to learning needs information, accommodations, research-based strategies, & workflow tools to support collaboration and implement IEPs.
Integrated within Canvas, Education Modified does three things that are unique in the K12 marketplace: First, we extract essential data from dense & opaque IEP documents, reformat it to make it teacher-friendly, and put it all in one place -- The Learning Biography™ -- that’s easily accessible anytime, anywhere. Second, the Learning Library™ provides 350+ research-based strategies based on disability classification and skill gaps to allow teachers to track what’s working (or not) for every child.Lastly the Learning Dashboard™ houses students’ annual IEP goals and provides progress monitoring and data collection tools to streamline the often inefficient process of tracking goal outcomes. The result is improved teacher effectiveness, improved student outcomes, & reduced risk of litigation for districts.

Education Modified will retain District Data until the end of the contract or a specific, written request from the District. Data will be disposed of within 30 days of the end of the contract or receipt of the written request.
During disposal, all data will be deleted from Education Modified’s databases, and any uploaded documents will be removed from file storage.
