How to use Compilatio Magister+ and Magister?
1 - Prepare documents to analyse
Manual or automated upload of documents to be analysed. Remote submission of work by students directly into Canvas interfaces effectively holds students accountable.
2.1 - Run analyses of textual similarities
Comparison with hundreds of billions of web pages accessible online, millions of digital materials including open access and premium contents, documents analyzed by your institution, database of Compilatio-equipped institutions, etc.
Find out more about our database content: https://www.compilatio.net/en/database-content
2.2 - Run analyses of AI-generated Content*
Detect texts potentially created by a GenAI. Get the percentage of potential AI-generated text and the location of suspicious passages. We detect various types of GenAI: ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
*To access AI content detection, you need a Compilatio Magister+ subscription.
3 - Assess the quality of the work
The analysis report gives you a score of suspicious texts, including a percentage of similarities, a percentage of potentially AI-generated texts and a percentage of potentially altered texts (unrecognized languages).
In addition, Compilatio Magister+ subscription enables you to perform cross-lingual similarity analyses and identify deep reformulations.
You can now impartially evaluate the work and identify suspicious passages, while comparing them with the detected sources (in the case of similarities) thanks to the side-by-side comparison.
Analysis reports can be used as a basis for discussion with students to raise awareness of citation rules and authenticity.
