Quiz lockdown for Canvas Student Mobile App

Our district is looking for solutions to restrict access to other apps, iPad features (such as dictionary definition lookup, and spell checker), and browsers while a student is taking an assessment on the Canvas Student Mobile App.  We met with Respondus and their lockdown browser is not a solution for users of the Canvas Student app. 

Is there a solution that locks a user into a single app and creates a secure testing environment on the iPad?

I'm curious what you were told about Respondus. We have been using Respondus for several years now, and the Respondus Monitor/Lockdown browser app works great for keeping students locked into their proprietary browser (even on the iPad) while taking exams in Canvas.
