Printing/Downloading students' answers to essay questions in New Quizzes?

I want to download/print a whole zipped folder, or however, of students' responses to a short essay quiz (it's a new quiz) so that I can grade their essays on paper for a class discussion. 

It seems very odd (and extrememly user unfriendly) that new quizzes won't allow you to work on paper or download a copy of students' responses - am I missing something simple here? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the intended use of the student report (you CAN download the response...once they have been graded 😑)--but hopefully not forever. Add this to the long list of things Classic Quizzes lets you do (that were helpful) that somehow got removed from the carry-over list to New Quizzes.

There are a couple places where people are trying to encourage them to make this available. I agree--it is very user-UN-friendly to not let you download essay/short answer responses BEFORE they are graded. Feel free to check them out and give them a like as well to drive attention to this issue.
