New Quizzes Not Copying Updated Version

I've had this issue for several weeks as an instructor.

I have a test in period 1 that I edited, updated, etc. for this semester. It's ready to use. Now I want to copy over to period 3 since it's the same course.

I delete the existing version (last semester's) from the quizzes tab in the period 3 destination course. It no longer appears in the course / module so now I'm ready to copy.

I go back to the good version in period 1 that I just verified has the edits and copy it over to period 3.

The weird thing is when I open it in period 3, it's the old version, not the one I updated. I have re-checked and the period 1 version I want to copy over definitely has new edits that aren't showing up when I copy it to period 3?!

Tried again, ensuring I deleted any version of the test in the destination period 3 class prior to copying.

I have logged out and back in. Waited more than an hour to see if somehow it's updating slower? I can't figure out why it's sending an outdated version.

I am using Chrome on a MacBook Air as I usually do. 

Is this a known glitch? I haven't found anything else in the guides recently.
