When a New Quiz is published but not yet available, is there a way that students with extra time accommodations for New Quizzes can see their quiz duration, so that they can check/confirm that their accommodations have been correctly applied? In Classic Quizzes, each student could see their duration, so could confirm the duration was correct for them, but this doesn't seem to happen in New Quizzes? Having this function would save time and decrease the consequences of human error.
Many thanks
I was just looking at this feature earlier and see that a student can see the length of time available for the New Quiz before starting and can see the countdown timer as well. As long as the original instructions include information about the default amount of time, students should be able to see that accommodations have been properly provided.

Ah, thanks for that - I unintentionally omitted that this is for when the New Quiz is published but not yet available.
In that context, students can click to the assignment because it's published. They get information about when it will open, but doesn't include duration at that point (but Classic Quizzes does). So if a student should have extra time as accommodation, they can't actually check that themselves - in our large classes I use transparency of things like that so students can check for themselves, and only need to contact me if there's a problem.
Thanks again!
I took a look again. It looks like time limits are not shared with any students when a New Quiz is published but not yet available. That might be a good idea to add to the community.
Many thanks. I was hoping this would already be present somewhere, and if not then yes should be presented as a development idea.
Note that I've edited my original post to clarify "published but not yet available".
