When the 'People' page is disabled it can fail to load more users when you scroll to the bottom of it

Canvas

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 9/25/24.

Description

When a course has enough users that you’ll need to scroll to load more and the ‘People’ page is disabled in the course settings the people page can fail to trigger the request to load more results when scrolling down it.

Expected Behavior

Scrolling to the bottom of the people page in a large course should trigger more results to load in

Workaround

Adjust the screen size of your browser and this should trigger the pagination.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a course with many users (I used 200)

  2. Disable the “People' page in the course navigation tab of the settings

  3. Load the /users page in the course and scroll to the bottom

  4. Notice it doesn’t trigger the request to load more

    1. If it does the first set scroll again and it should stop the next time you get to the bottom of the content
