SpeedGrader submission comments show HTML in Inbox and in notifications
This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 11/20/24.
Description
When leaving a comment for a student in SpeedGrader, if you view it from Inbox under Submission comment or in your canvas notifications, the HTML tags display.
Expected Behavior
Instead it should render the HTML tags instead of treating them as plain text.
Workaround
View the comment from the Gradebook or Submission page.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisite: Course with assignment and student. Make sure that submission comment notifications are enabled for the student.

Go to SpeedGrader and leave a comment for the student.

As the student navigate to the Inbox.

Select Submission comments.

Notice that it shows HTML tags.
