[OPEN] [iOS] Student | Split view on ipads struggle to scroll assignments on grades tab

Description

When opening a course using the iOS student app on an ipad with split screen, navigating to the Grades tab does not allow users to scroll down the assignments list unless the navigation panel (left side) is refreshed.

  • This sometimes isn’t required but scrolling down a long lit of assignments will periodically stop and freeze for a few moments before continuing to scroll down the list.

Expected Behavior

Users should reliably be able to scroll through the assignments list on the grades tab

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites: A course with enough assignments to require scrolling down the grades page and at least one student

  1. Log in as a student to the student app on ipad

  2. Access a course

  3. Navigate to grades page using the split view, scroll, notice that scrolling will periodically freeze

    1. Depending on your the ipad you’re using this may not function at all until you trigger a refresh by pulling down at the top of the grades panel
