Course links fail to load using the SpeedGrader comment RCE

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 12/04/24.

Description

When attempting to add some course links to the RCE in the SpeedGrader comment box, it shows a "Something went wrong. Check your connection, reload the page, and try again." error message.

Expected Behavior

Instead it should allow you to select course items.

Workaround

Manually navigate to the address, then copy and paste that into the comment box.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisite: Course with a student.

  1. Create a published assignment and enter SpeedGrader.

  2. In the comment RCE box, select to add a course link.

  3. Try to add a page or assignment link as an example.

  4. Notice it shows an error message and console has a 404 error.
