Hi everyone,
I am presenting: How Much Is That Classroom in the Window? A Two-University Implementation of Canvas Catalog (hope you can attend!) and was interested in knowing what people wear for their presentations since they will be recorded for later viewing. I am used to wearing a dress or business casual for these type of events so I wanted to make sure I am dressed appropriately.
Thank you in advance,
Jessica
Hi Jessica,
InstructureCon is a very casual conference. While some presenters do go more business casual, you will also see some that present in shorts and a t-shirt (sometimes there favorite shirt they have gotten from InstructureCon past).

Thank you, @bneporadny . That is what I figured but I just wanted to gauge to see if there was a consensus.
All of the past presentations are on the Canvas YouTube channel. You can flip through those and get a sense. We went with collared (polo) shirts and nice jeans during our past presentations.
Thank you for the advice, @Chris_Munzo . I will be sure to check it out.
Hi Jessica,
I concur with @Chris_Munzo and @bneporadny . You should wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Nobody will judge you either way.
Everybody above is correct , @jsowalsk ! Wear anything or nothing as your mood dictates. Colorado is a rather progressive state, so "nothing" may really be an option.
My advice is to keep it casual, and especially in regards to shoes. Since most presenters are also attendees, you will not want to spend the rest of your day slogging around in high heels, or even dress flats! I have a cute story from two InstCons ago where I was riding the shuttle back up to the Conference Center after breakfast listening to one young lady dressed to the nines (including four-inch spike heels) bitterly and loudly complaining about the eating location, and how could Instructure possibly expect folks to walk around a wet grassy field to get breakfast. Obviously she was expecting a different conference along the lines of those held at a major hotel/conference center where the only traveling you would do is up and down an elevator.

Thank you so much, @kmeeusen .
When I did my presentations, I went with decent-looking casual shirts (most recordings will only capture you from the waist up) and jeans. But my footwear was wayyyyyy casual. Because comfort. And fun.
