Although I'm sure the final schedule is a few months away, can anyone provide a rough outline of when activities will begin on July 19, and end on July 21? This will help me determine which dates to make my flight/hotel arrangements for. Thanks!
Solved! Go to Solution.
On July 19, the official start will be around 5pm with our evening reception/dinner. However, people participating in pre-conference sessions and other first day activities will be starting as early as 8am.
Our evening reception often goes as late as 11pm on the last day of the conference (July 21).

I've been to InstructureCon three years and I strongly recommend that you get there earlier on the 19th (trust me, you do NOT want to miss the opening evening session) and don't plan on leaving until the morning of the 22nd (trust me again, you do NOT want to be the person going home early from this conference). I know some conference it's not a big deal to miss the first session or by the end you're ready to go home and the last evening doesn't matter, but this is not that conference! This is the conference that you'll have a blast and be telling your friends and coworkers about! Pretty much best conference ever!
@stevenwilliams - if your question is about arranging travel plans then I think that you've found the most sound advice, here, from Kona 😉
Kona,
I have said in the past that I have to be dragged away from InstCon just like I had to be dragged away from summer camp when I was a kid, so this year's theme is EXACTLY that!
Steven,
As Kona said, you won't want to miss anything! Like other conferences, the hallway conversations and casual community activities can sometimes be the best parts. But unlike any other event, there is no better time or place to sit side-by-side with an Instructure employee or a community Canvas expert and get answers to all your questions. Take advantage of every moment!
See you at Keystone!
Carrie
