Is there a more accessible place to get meals during InstructureCon 2016?

As clarification - we had to skip both dinner and the concert tonight because we couldn't get the stroller into Decatur field (the ramp across the street was scarily-steep, but we somehow made it).  Our current options are to skip the provided meals and either starve all day (probably not the best idea while navigating a baby through a conference), or we get to pay extra to go to meals in another place.  I'm hoping someone thought about the fact that Decatur field isn't friendly to anything with wheels and has set aside some alternative meal locations.  Perhaps someone with more insight into the details of InstructureCon can provide some information on alternatives?

 @tbunag ​, sorry to hear this! I'm not at InstructureCon, but when I saw your posting I forwarded it to a couple of Instructure employees. My guess is that this is some unintentional blip and you'll get some help pretty quickly!

Hope the rest of the conference is going ok!! I watched the live stream of the keynote and enjoyed it a lot!

So sorry to hear that you missed dinner and the concert last night.  All of the approaches to Decatur Field are flat and open.  I can see where you might not want to push a stroller up the ramp that goes down from the conference center side of the main road, to the tunnel that goes under it to the rest of the resort (or ease one down it).  You can take the shuttle from the conference center straight to Decatur Field.  Or, if you'd prefer, please contact one of us in the yellow staff shirts or come up to the registration counter.  We have golf carts and can ferry you down the ramp and back up if you'd rather do that.

The field is flat, but the gravel is so deep the stroller can't get through it. We were able to get to the field but not through it to anything.

I hope you took the shuttle to the street fair last night.  Again, if you need any assistance getting around please let any of us in yellow or black tshirts know.  Please DM me and I'll give you my cell number and make sure we have resources in place for you.

 @tbunag ​, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. The shuttle service does have an on-call provision: you can call 970-496-4200 to have a shuttle pick you up at the stop nearest to you and drop you off right at Decatur Field so you can avoid the ramp and any other obstacles that might deter you from enjoying the food and fun.

Thank you, all.  We were able to make it to Decatur Field to pick up lunch on Wednesday, and the additional entrance in the woodchip area was helpful.  We didn't stay in the field to eat, since there was no shade.  Hopefully, next year, it will be a bit more like the Park City set-up, with a centralized, comfortable area for meals and events.

Thankfully, we were able to get a babysitter for some of the other parts of the conference, so we were able to go to the street fair.

Accessibility and more places to sit and eat, etc is one of the major themes in all the feedback we are getting from during and post-conference.  We are hearing that feedback loud and clear.  Sorry once again for the inconvenience you suffered through.
