Impact Release Notes (2024-11-12)
In this Impact release, new content is included for Canvas. An updated feature for Impact Insights within Canvas Analytics Hub is available. Other updates include accessibility improvements for Insights, Support, Campaigns, Messages, and LTI Usage.

Launching the Canvas release campaign provides users with updates and new features in Canvas.

Canvas Analytics Hub: Impact Insights Link
The Impact Insights link in the Canvas Analytics Hub works as intended and directs user to the Impact Insights page within the user’s Impact Dashboard.

Insights
The following are accessibility improvements to Insights:
- A status message ‘Number of results found’ is announced to screen reader users.
- The screen reader announces the element ‘Row per page’ with the correct role.
Support
The following are accessibility improvements to Support:
- The screen reader announces the element ‘Row per page’ with the correct role.
- On the Support Center Design page, when a user drags and drops an element, the focus for keyboard navigation and screen readers shifts to the newly placed element, and a screen reader alert notifies users of this change.
Campaigns
The following is an accessibility improvement to Campaigns:
- The Roles per page dropdown menu provides proper textual name, role, and state information.
Messages
The following are accessibility improvements to Messages:
- Tooltips provide proper textual name, role, and state information.
- The Roles per page dropdown menu provides proper textual name, role, and state information.
LTI Usage
The following are accessibility improvements to LTI Usage:
- The Filter button is moved to before the Show filter details button and the Clear filter button.
- The Filters tray tooltip displays as intended when the zoom is increased to 400% or the width is 320px.
Fixed Bugs |
- Creating and editing messages within mobile view works as intended.
- After clicking the Impact Homepage button, the page displays as intended.
