[Walkthroughs] Custom Navigation (Branching)

Problem statement:

When creating walkthroughs, the only button options are next, previous and end. It would be great if there was an option to go to a specific step in the walkthrough, or even broader, be able to create branches in a walkthrough. As an example, we are currently building a walkthrough that walks teachers through setting up their course prior to publishing. Some of the steps include adjusting GradeBook settings, like late work and posting policies. Currently, if a teacher doesn't want to set a particular policy, they have to use the next button multiple times to get past all the steps related to setting up a specific policy. This option would allow the walkthrough creator to just link to the step that starts configuration of the next policy, bypassing all of the steps for setting up the previous policy. Additionally, it would be nice to create multiple short walkthroughs and chain them together using a button link in a step.

Proposed solution:

My solution is to expand/enhance the options for where you go when creating a button. I would add two additional options, "Jump to step", where you can select a step from the walkthrough to move to, and the second option would be "Jump to an existing walkthrough", where you can select to fire up a different walkthrough at any point along the way. These two options provide much more flexibility in how participants can navigate through a longer walkthrough, skipping the things they don't plan to use or skipping things they may already be familiar with. This can also reduce the amount of time to complete a complex walkthrough, allowing people to navigate based on prior knowledge.
