At the end of their Spring 2021 semester, The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton decided to make the transition from Blackboard Learn to Blackboard with Ultra Base Navigation (UBN). To ensure seamless integration, UACCM opted to use Impact to help with their transition.
LMS migration at Impact is guided by our ready-to-use messaging, self-service support, and adoption statistics. With the help of in-app messaging, you can place messages anywhere in LMS to communicate with faculty and students. We can measure onboarding statistics to see what courses and instructors have migrated to new tools. We offer contextual, role-sensitive help and escalate support requests from within the LMS to an institution’s ticking system as users navigate their new environment. UACCM took full advantage of all of our services to aid in their change.
The integration of Blackboard’s Ultra Base Navigation has been very smooth!

Impact's campaign templates, created by our in-house team of instructional designers, serve as a pre-made resource for customers who may not have time to create migration content. Migration campaigns are role-specific and help users new to the LMS orient themselves with their new environment. These campaigns teach users what to expect when migrating to a new LMS and provide the necessary support to get started. By using Impact's migration campaigns, UACCM was able to report ZERO issues with student use of Ultra Base Navigation!
