New Quizzes: student-specific access codes

Canvas has the capacity to use only one access code per quiz. I suggest an improvement: add ability of Canvas to use student-specific access codes for Canvas quizzes. Codes could be generated by Canvas (& downloadable by instructors as a spreadsheet) or manually inputted into Canvas by instructors. Either way, a student-specific access code feature would make it possible to use Canvas quizzes for in-person completion of quizzes, when instructors want to ensure that students are in the room completing the quiz. Yes, taking attendance & cross-referencing that with quiz-completers is a possibility (albeit an after-the-fact process), but student-specific access codes would reduce to zero the likelihood of people taking the quiz in an inappropriate location when they should be in the classroom.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
