New Quizzes Sharing Across Instances - Auto-Update of LTI URL by Instance Import

New Quizzes downloaded or shared via Commons should have the capacity to auto-update the External Tool URL by appropriate instance copied into. Right now, if a New Quizzes item is shared/downloaded from one instance into another, the previous instance External Tool LTI URL is retained and does not work in the new instance.

I have this same request.

I would like to add in my vote as well. This is vital if we are going to be transitioning to New Quizzes and phasing out Classic Quizzes. It is difficult for me as a Canvas admin to support the use of New Quizzes, despite the variety of new item types, when they do not have the features of Classic Quizzes that teachers treasure:

Importing from Canvas Export Package or Commons

Ability to insert Audio in Rich Content Editor

Ability to Grade by question

So frustrating...

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
