While watching the Canvas LMS Updates for Higher Education, I was concerned to see the Discussions/Announcements Redesign slide refer to the current UI redesign as simply an "Evolved User Interface" with a screenshot of it in its current state. The new UI has received almost entirely (and in most cases very strong) negative feedback here in this community. From my perspective, that feedback has been well presented by users and in many cases it's been backed up with qualitative or quantitative data. I'm hoping that we will receive reassurance in this user group very soon that our extensive feedback has been listened to and that we will see at least a mock-up of a new UI in the near future that addresses concerns that the redesign is unusable for most users in its current state.
