Discussions Redesign Coming to Canvas LMS on July 20th, 2024!

As many of you know we've been working tirelessly to enhance the Canvas experience, and we're delighted to announce that the long-anticipated Discussions Redesign will be enforced on July 20, 2024!

With the release of inline/split view on October 25, 2023 our team has finished the last piece of originally planned work for the discussion redesign. This doesn't mean we're stopping work on discussions though. Merely shifting our focus to new functionality. 

With all of this in mind, we've decided to enforce the redesign for all users on July 20, 2024 (June 17, 2024 for beta). This gives our team and you time to address any concerns and plan for the upcoming change.

Hi,

What changes are being made?  Does this also mean we will be able to post TWO dates--one for Initial Posts and one for Replies?!  That would be wonderful!  Also, it would be great to integrate Copyleaks and/or Turnitin into discussion posts.  Academic Integrity is taking a big hit in this arena.
