Download Level 2 Data

Hello fellow Canvas Users!

Our university is concerned about faculty downloading grades to their computer from the gradebook, assignments, or quizzes, as grades are considered level 2 data. We are discussing/brainstorming ideas on how to encourage faculty to download to a secure location - google docs, Dropbox, the university's secure drives, etc. This is easy enough when on campus, but will need to be well-documented. However, it quickly becomes a can of worms when working off-campus. Issues connecting to university resources, etc. 

Has anyone instituted a policy around this issue? Any successes or pitfalls along the way?
