Updated Features |
Auto-Publishing Captions
Auto-Publish settings allow users to run captioning and publishing automatically. This update simplifies admin workflow by providing automatic functionality and allows instructors and students to select auto-publish settings for their own media via Personal settings.
Personal Settings
In Canvas Studio settings, the Personal settings page is available and allows users to easily manage captioning and notification options.
The Personal page allows all users to manage personal user settings for captioning media.
Auto-Publish Settings
Click the Enable Auto-Publish for Automatic Captions toggle on to enable captions to automatically publish once generated. This option is only available if turned on by an administrator.
Admin Settings
In Canvas Studio settings, the General settings page is renamed the Admin settings page and allows admins to easily manage embedding and captioning options.
The Admin page allows admins to manage embedding and captioning settings for their account and user accounts.
Auto-Publish Settings
By default, auto-publish for auto-captioning is turned off. Click the Enable Auto-Publish for Automatic Captions state toggle on to enable auto-publish for auto-captioning.
Admins can also set and lock captioning features for all user accounts. To select a feature setting, click the State toggle to the desired state. Then, click the Lock icon for that feature.
Note: Locking a feature setting overrides users' individual captioning settings.
