setting due dates in canvas

since our content is already in canvas when we see the class, where do I go to set due dates for these assignments?

You would go to Assignments in the course navigation. You can either go to the specific assignment and set the due dates one by one or you can bulk change the dates by the stack of three dots next to the +Assignment button and selecting Edit Assignment Dates.

You can also alternatively edit the dates in individual Assignments. Just click on "Edit" and scroll down to where you have the box to set the dates.
