I need to be able to join a group without having to see other users or people's names, is that possible?
In my current LMS canvas for a student to join a group they see ALL the users names in the course, is there a way to let him join a group but without let them see them the entire course names? for security reason we cannot allow students to see names of others students

As stated in the Community guide What are Groups?:

Groups are a small version of a course and used as a collaborative tool where a minimum of two students can work together on group projects and assignments.

The intent of groups is to have students work together and know how else is in their group.  The guide also states the following for when Groups should be used:

• Set up student group configurations at the course level for assignments and in-class work, both graded and ungraded.
• Facilitate semester-long projects so that students can communicate and iterate on documents together.
• Facilitate faculty professional development and institutional committees or activities.
• Facilitate student-run study groups within courses or at the account level.

From what I can tell, you are wanting to do something different than the intent of why Groups were created.

the thing is the Person tab allows the student to see the ENTIRE list of people in the course wich my institution says is a "security risk" thats why they dont allow the studen to see the person tab, wich means i cannot create groups proyects in the course

Is your institution stating that you cannot allow students to see anyone else in the course or just the entire roster?  Are they OK with students seeing the names of the people in their group?

they want the student just to see their own groups members not the entire list of people in the course

I believe the only way to do this is to have the instructor add students to the groups.  Students could still be able to select the group or people they wanted to work with, but the instructor would have to add the students to the groups.  Disable People from the Navigation menu and students should be able to access the Group area through the Groups link in the Global navigation menu.  I know your goal was to have students self enroll in the groups, but I  am not seeing how this would be possible and not show the other students' names enrolled in the course.
