I graded an assignment. Students state the comments are hidden . How do I make these visable?

When you're in Speedgrader for that assignment, do you see a crossed-out eyeball in the upper left-hand side of the screen. If so, your grades are "hidden." You'll need to "post" the grades for that assignment.

What @SusanNiemeyer stated is correct. Below is the instructor guide for information on making assignment scores in the gradebook visible to students. If all the assignments are graded, then posting the grades will solve the issue. If you are still going to grade some, you will want to make sure that the grade posting option is set to automatically and not manually - if it is still on manual, then any new grades added will hide those specific grades until they are posted.
There is an option for all assignments posted in a course to where you can make them automatic or manual posting of the grades. the default is automatic. this information is in the guide as well.
