Good morning, @SheilahKariuki ...
There could be a number of possibilities why you are not seeing content on your Canvas Dashboard. Here are some things to try:
- Are you able to see any of your courses if you navigate to your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen in Canvas? If you cannot see any courses listed, I would recommend that you reach out to your schools Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department to see why you don't have access to your courses. They should be able to investigate this for you so that you can start beginning your course work.
- If your Dashboard seems to be missing icons on the left hand side global navigation bar...or you are seeing other strange things on the Dashboard (like just a white screen), then try the following:
- Make sure that you are using an up-to-date web browser. Both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are generally good choices when navigating around the Canvas environment. Also see What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?
- Try clearing your web browser's cache/history. After doing this, shut down your browser, re-start the browser, and then try logging back in to Canvas to see if anything has changed.
- Contact your school's Online Learning team as described above to see if they have any other suggestions.
