colors in dashboard list view

hello! i'm a student, and my canvas is typically set to list view, as it is easier for me to see all my assignments. up until today, all my classes have been color coded and synced with the colors I set in the calendar (i did this from card view at the beginning of the semester), but today, they have all changed to various shades of blue. however, when i revert my dashboard view back into card view, all the colors are how i normally have them, and same with the calendar. does anyone know what is going on? or how to change the colors back in list view?

Interesting.  I am seeing the same thing with my Canvas admin account.  I don't see anything on the UI end that would allow me to change those colors.  I also looked at the Release Notes/Deploy Notes page, and I didn't see anything recent that would indicate there was a recent change about this: Canvas Releases - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the colors. I looked into your account, but I didn't see different shades of blue on the list view. Are you still having the issue? If so, could you provide us with a screenshot of what you are seeing so that we can get a better idea of what is happening?

I'm not necessarily seeing different shades of blue like @SylviaZhang has indicated, but I can replicate what she is seeing as far as all blue items in the "List View" of the Dashboard.  I also recall that these used to be different colors at one time.  Here's an example from my own Canvas admin account:

The two items I have circled are two in two different courses.  I even checked my "Calendar" and made sure that both courses had colored boxes next to them (one was purple...the other was green).  I thought the blue boxes on the "List View" of the Dashboard used to match the color of the course in the Calendar and the "All Courses" page?

 @SylviaZhang and @Chris_Hofer - I wanted to return to this conversation. Since last you last posted, have you seen any changes with the colors associated with dashboard cards? Have things stayed inaccurate, or have they cleared up? Have you collaborated with Support, and if so, what did you learn?

I'm still seeing the blue color on the "List View" of the Canvas Dashboard.

It looks like something our devs worked on a few months ago and have since fixed. you should be able to update the colors correctly now, of course, let us know if you still can't.
