We have a "newbie" starting in September - what's the best way to onboard/ train them up in Canvas? I've seen the Commons Course ... just wondered if there's anything else that folks have seen/ used that's had impact?

Hey @eileen_m_field ,
I'd say the best way to train a new user is not only to use courses you have access to via commons, such as Growing With Canvas, but also showing them what your school uses directly. If your school pays for Canvas, you may have things set-up differently than others, so it's important to sit down and actually show them what they will need to use, how to use it and how it works.
You can also introduce them here to the Canvas Community, and show them how to access the guides and forums if they have any questions or want to learn something new about the platform! Of course, there are plenty of videos and other resources either created by Canvas, or other Canvas users to reference as well.
I hope this helps!
