Use of blueprint courses

I want to be able to create a course master and then basically copy that master for different sessions of the course. I'm hoping that any changes I make to the master will be filtered down to the copies.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this. I am a little confused on blueprint courses and associating courses with a blueprint.
Is there a straightforward way to do this? Thank you!

Hi @MGX3000,
There are a few different guides related to blueprints:

- How do I sync course content in a blueprint course... - Instructure Community - 1271

Basically, you'll need a course shell for the blueprint content itself. This course should only have the content creators enrolled as teachers (do not add students to this course). You'd then associate the "real" course shells with the blueprint course, and sync the blueprint content to those courses (the guides above explain how to do this). When content is changed in the blueprint, you can then sync those changes to the associated courses (it won't happen automatically, but it's only a couple clicks, very easy).
I hope this info helps! Let us know if you have more questions about any of the specific steps or anything else with blueprints!
