Hello there, @VimbaMazibuko ...
Turnitin is a separate software product that can be integrated with your school's Canvas environment. Generally speaking, there is usually a cost to the school in order to get this integration set up between Turnitin and Canvas. Your school's Canvas administrator team (or someone from your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education team) would be the ones who talk with the folks from Turnitin to get all the necessary directions to get Turnitin configured within Canvas. Depending on if your school has purchased the Turnitin integration or not, that will determine if you can use Turnitin at your school.
The next question would be...are you an instructor or a student? If you are an instructor, then Turnitin would be an option for you to select from as you are editing the details of your Canvas assignment within your course. Once you establish the details of the Canvas assignment with the Turnitin integration, then submissions from your students will be scanned for plagiarism using Turnitin. If you are a student, your instructor should let you know that your assignment will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin once the assignment is submitted.
I'd highly recommend that you check with your school's Canvas admin or someone from their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education team to see if they have Turnitin integrated at your school. Hopefully they will be able to give you more information on if you can use it to check for plagiarism. Good luck to you!
