Turning off notifications for a shared class

I am a CTE teacher, and I have been added and listed as a "teacher" in other courses for different reasons, but the main premise is to be able to help these teachers post assignments if they are out of the building and/or help set up their Canvas courses (think of me as the CTE fairy godmother/go-to for Canvas and tech issues). These teachers and I do not share the same content areas, and for the most part, I am not grading any of these teacher's assignments, just assisting them when needed.

My questions are the following:

1. Is there a way to turn off all notifications for these classes that are not mine without turning them off for the listed teacher? I'm scrolling forever on the "To-Do" to find just my own assignments.

   Example: I do not need to see that 23 students turned in ____ assignment under my "To Do" list (see screenshot), or get notified on submission comments from other classes. 

2. If I exit the notification on the "To-Do" list for these classes on the right-hand side of the assignment name, will these teachers not see them either? (see screenshot)

Any notifications that you see, and any notification settings that you update, are all specific to you, and any changes you make have no impact on the other teachers or students in the course.
