Table of Contents Doesn't Appear for Google Drive submissions

Several of my students submitted a Google Doc for a Canvas assignment where I am the Instructor. However, when they did so, their Table of Contents did not appear to me in SpeedGrader. Downloading their submission as a Word document/docx does show the Table of Contents, so it appears to just be an issue on Canvas' end. I've attached a screenshot of a side-by-side comparison for the original reporter, but I have seen this issue with multiple students.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to let you know that I don't see any screenshots attached to your post. I do know that the Speedgrader preview does not necessarily maintain the formatting of the document submitted, so this issue may be a feature and not a bug.

Hello @TrishaMeyer1 ,

That's strange you couldn't see my screenshot, when I pretty clearly remember attaching it. What I'm concerned about is the inconsistency of formatting, since some students will have the above issue while others don't even on the same assignment.
