I've been trying to fairly allocate points for student participation in the multiple discussion boards I've used over the semester. I was pleased to find a method for supposedly (-- not faulting the script here, BTW) downloading student activity for the entire class over the entire semester. However, when I try to processes student views and participations with the discussion boards, I find the detailed results differ from the summary provided by Canvas. Here's a screenshot showing the issue.
The sum of this student's discussion boards views is 14 (and the student disputes this). In contrast, Canvas's "Course Discussion" entry has a value of 71 views.
Does anyone know what is going on here!
