Outcomes Across Courses

I created an assignment in my course and attached a rubric with 3 outcomes. Another instructor wants to use the assignment in their class. We copied and moved the assignment to the respective class. The rubric and outcomes are still attached to the assignment.
If the instructor does not delete the rubric will the students achieve mastery in the outcomes?
If so, does that mean that the student will already demonstrate mastery in the same outcomes in my class?
We are not quite sure of the impacts of sharing assignments with outcomes.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Those are great questions, @JimJones1. Canvas courses are generally jealous of any student work done within them and do not include any student data when copied (or portions are copied) from one course to another. Even if the same student is enrolled in both courses, their performance in one will not appear in the other.
