MyLab Mastering generates "Complete registration by clicking the “finish the registration process” link sent to your email",

Greetings:
I have a student trying to register for a class. He can get into the class and access most menu items, but when he tries to enter MyLab / Mastering, he gets the following at the top of the screen:
Complete registration by clicking the “finish the registration process” link sent to your email
When he goes back to the referenced email and clicks on the link to "Finish the registration process" the page he is sent to gives a window that starts with:
"It looks like you may have already confirmed your registration. . . ."
We are both very confused. Any help would be great.

Thanks to all who reviewed this:
Pearson level 3 support was able to fix this for me (us). The problem was created when I copied the Canvas class and did not remove all of the Pearson assignments / references. This caused there to be an error in the Pearson configuration file. Support walked me through removing it manually and now everything works.
