My Courses won't come off my dashboard?

This started a while ago where I would finish a course and the class would not disappear from my dashboard. I tried to see if they were pinned in my courses, but I have unstarred all my courses in the "all courses" section and they still didn't go away. I have talked with a teacher and they said they do not know what is going on, i now have over 20 finished courses that still are on my dashboard, it is impossible to figure out what class is what and find them when I am taking multiple classes in a semester. How do I remove my finished courses from my dashboard?

Hi @chrlop1,

If you unstar everything, Canvas actually reverts back to course/term dates to determine what to put on your dashboard, and sometimes schools/institutions leave courses open for years for some reason.  I would suggest just starring the courses that you actually want on your dashboard and that will likely do the trick for you.
