Locker Signup

I want to setup a locker signup system. One where students can signup for a particular locker, then once they do, it's removed from the list. Is that something that could be done with Canvas? Microsoft forms has limited functionality, and won't be able to track who selects what.  Is there a LTI that can work that anyone knows of?

I thought I had a way you could do it with groups.  Label each group as the locker and let the students put themselves in the group.  Then the students that got to the group setup first had more options of which locker.  The only problem is that Canvas requires there to be at least 2 members per group.  You can even create groups that start off the same say "Locker_10" then select that you want to create 9 groups and it appends on 1-9 on to Locker_10 - giving Locker_101 - Locker 109.  you would have to play around some with the setup to get the numbers you wanted, but it could be done.  Unfortunately, you can't put yourself into each group to take 1 of the spots.

Not Canvas oriented, but I think you can tie the google form into your class - Note I have not used google forms and I have not put google anything into any of my classes, so the above link is the extent of my knowledge.

I believe that @Ron_Bowman is correct in needing to step outside of Canvas for this one at the moment. Groups would have been a good option if it were possible to limit groups to 1 member. 

My other thought was using the scheduler tool on the calendar which you can set appointment slots and restrict them to one user. However this falls short as well because the individual time slots cannot be labled.

You might consider voting on this idea conversation that seems like it would suggest features to make your task possible!
