Hello, I noticed this issue was asked about in this thread a year ago, but I could not find a solution. When I require a Quiz to be taken with LDB, the "require LDB for feedback and results" option is selected by default, but after students take the quiz, they select the link to view their results, and it does not show them their results.
When I test with a quiz set for LDB, but uncheck the "require LDB for feedback and results" there are no problems and there are no problems with the same quiz not uisng LDB at all. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue so that both the LDB and the "require LDB for feedback and results" can be checked? I'd like to avoid having the professors at my institution manually un-check this option that is selected by default on every single quiz in their courses.
Thank you!
After taking the quiz, the student must log out and close Respondus. Then, she must log back in in Respondus to view the results. Respondus is designed to only do one thing per session: take one quiz, view one set of results, etc. When you try to do more than one thing per session, it rebels. Does that help, @amaniae-int ?
Hello there, @amaniae-int ...
I wanted to check in with you because I noticed that we have not heard from you since you first posted this question to the Canvas Community website on September 21st. Have you had an opportunity to review the feedback that you receive from @dhulsey ? If so, did his reply help to answer your question? Or, are you still looking for some help with this question? If you feel that Dallas' response has helped to answer your question, please feel free to mark his response as "Correct". However, if you are still looking for some help, post a message below so that members of the Community might be able to help you out further. For now, because we've not heard from you for over two months and because there hasn't been any new activity in this thread for the same amount of time, I am going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered", but that won't prevent you or others from posting additional questions/comments below that are related to this topic. I hope that's alright with you, Liza. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment. Also, if this question has been answered by one of the previous replies, please feel free to mark that answer as correct.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet? I have had several professors encounter this this week, and am hoping to find a solution for them. Our nursing faculty only want students to be able to view their exam results once, immediately following the exam--so it does not work to close Lockdown Browser and then log back in. Lockdown Browser should automatically show the results at the conclusion of the quiz but it basically shows a blank screen.
I'm seeing the same thing as Taylor.
Faculty in my department are also experiencing this problem, especially concerning when students are testing in a home environment as opposed to a proctored testing center. Does anyone have a solution?
I have had several students experience this issue. The exam is set to allow students to view the answers to the assessment after the testing period has closed. The students have tried logging out of Canvas, closing the LDB window and then logging in again. Same issue. I can go into the LDB dashboard and remove the requirement for the specific quiz, but that doesn't solve the issue.
I am also having this same issue, much to the chagrin of our nursing faculty. I know it's been technically marked as solved but it's not.
Maybe this was resolved in 2019 and updated in 2020, but it is back at not working. The following conditions have been tried to no avail:
Any thoughts?
Thank you,
Dr. Moe
This was marked Solved, and the solution was another user (@taylor_mclaughl) asking the same question 2 years after the original post.
Five years after that post, I have a student experiencing the same thing. Due to exam piracy, I can't undo the requirement for LDB to review exam results, and other posters have said that doesn't work anyway.
Is there a real solution to this issue at present? Thanks in advance.
Hello, Chrisream,
It is not resolved. I have encouraged faculty to not use it as I do not see a real solution.
Thank you,
Dr. Moe
