Inbox messages (conversations) notifications

I used to get notifications when someone messaged me by Canvas Inbox. Now when I go to 'Notifications', and try to click 'Added to Conversation' it won't let me turn it on. It says, 'Notification Unsupported'.

Is there another way to get notified by my school email that I received a message in my Canvas inbox?

By chance, are you looking in the "Push Notifications" column?  I looked at my own "Notifications" screen, and I am also unable to change anything for "Added To Conversation"...but that is for the "Push Notifications" column.  For my default "Email" column, I can still change that setting to any of the four options available.  Here is my screenshot.  The left column is my "Email", and the right colulmn is my "Push Notifications".

I have a related question.  I am no longer getting a notification flag on my inbox link in the navigation menu in Canvas when I have received a message from a student.  When I go to my Notifications preferences, there is no category for Conversations.
