How Do Module Requirements Work with a Blueprint Sync Course.

We have a number of courses that are synced frequently via a blueprint sync. We would like to add module requirements to some of the modules but can't find any clear documentation on how students completed requirements might be impact by the future blueprint syncs. For example: We add requirements to modules and Student A completes all the requirements but then we make a change to the content on the page (not the title, etc. only content on the page) and run a new blueprint sync for the course. Will Student A still show as having completed the module requirements?
In short, I guess the question is does a blueprint sync reset any module completion data for individual students or would the students' completion status within a module remain after future blueprint syncs?
Thanks so much for any input. We have tested but would like to be sure before we implement this change.
